Marketing and Communications/Web Developer

With his father and brother as founding partners of TargetSmart, it was only a matter of time before Matt came on board, bringing his special brand of communication and marketing strategies to the company.

Matt graduated with a degree in advertising from Kansas State University and immediately managed the corporate intranet for the list brokerage and management firm Direct Media.

He later joined his brother Drew at Acxiom where he worked for the marketing team in the company’s data products division.

With a focus on web development and design with one eye always targeted on marketing, Matt moved on to Aristotle, a web design firm where he maintained web sites for several clients, including Wal-Mart, Bank of America and Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Following forays in corporate internet management for U.S. Foodservice and the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Matt joined TargetSmart and has lived in Maryland for 13 years, the past six with his wife and two stepsons.
