Matt Cassidy’s capacity to distill complex, multi-layered data into highly targeted strategic insights is what makes him an invaluable member of our strategic team.
Matt gained entry into campaign politics in 2004 where he worked a volunteer and later a Field Organizer for the Michigan Coordinated Campaign in the 5th Congressional District. He moved on to spend over six years at the National Committee for Effective Congress (NCEC) in the position of Senior Political Cartographer.
At NCEC he drew the map of New Jersey legislative districts that will be in use through the year 2021. He also aided in state legislative redistricting efforts in the states of Florida, Michigan, Missouri and Vermont as well as Congressional redistricting in New Jersey.
Matt has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Detroit-Mercy and a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Columbia, SC with his wife and son.
