Digital Services Specialist

As a member of TargetSmart’s Digital & Media Team, you will provide support and handle day-to-day client service requests. You will help TargetSmart engage with progressive organizations, Democratic campaigns, Digital and Media firms, and other consultants to ensure their satisfaction in the use of TargetSmart’s data, products, services, and technology tools. This role includes developing and maintaining relationships with and providing account management for a broad range of clients and partners, educating and training clients on TargetSmart’s data and offerings, understanding and documenting internal processes, and playing an essential role in the overall day to day operations of the Digital & Media team at TargetSmart.

In This Position You will:

Oversee and ensure delivery of all digital orders by submitting, tracking, and monitoring data requests and processing jobs

Provide first-level client facing support for digital requests or issues, escalating as needed to more senior staff or Director of Digital & Media

Conduct onboarding of new digital clients and provide continued training and guidance

Provide day-to-day support on partner ad platforms, including performing various operations on our data within those platforms (permissioning, distribution, enforcement of data retention policy, etc.)

Complete assigned and daily tasks under the direction of the Manager of Digital Services

Coordinate with Client Services, Sales, Production, Data Products, and other relevant Departments as necessary regarding digital operations

Develop an in-depth knowledge of the processes and systems used in the day-to-day operations of the Digital & Media team, and identify opportunities for improvement

Provide basic support for a variety of internal and external platforms that host TargetSmart data (first-level client facing)

Provide coverage for the support of incoming digital orders and coordinate schedules to ensure client coverage expectations are met

Assist the Director of Digital & Media and Manager(s) as needed

Assist in documenting Digital processes and conduct internal/external trainings

Requirements

  • Familiarity with political data (i.e.- voter files, model scores, donor lists, membership lists, etc.)
  • Experience with digital advertising apps and platforms like Facebook, LiveRamp, or other Programmatic DSPs
  • Experience working with at least one of TargetSmart’s ListBuilder, SmartVAN, other Voter Activation Network (VAN) software, or other similar online data querying software
  • Understanding of the voting process and political district boundaries
  • 1+ years’ experience working with Democratic Campaigns or Progressive Non-Profits, PACs, Polling Firms, or Political Consultants
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to trouble-shoot issues and solve problems requiring quick turnaround times
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and see them through to completion
  • Attention to detail and solid communication skills
